Tulips in a Glass Vase

Sometimes a painting doesn’t need to send a message or be anything other than a pleasant picture on the wall. I like the composition of these flowers against the background, as the blue grey in the background works well with the brighter colors in the bulbs. Another attraction of this composition was the challenge of painting a vase with the illusion of glass.
