Project Description
The most challenging type of graphic design is visual identity. Symbols need to be simple, because they will be reproduced in small sizes and on a variety of surfaces. They also need to immediately communicate the message or essence of an event, organization or company. The designer has relatively little to work with, except for form, color and creativity.
This global gathering of national Bible societies posed an interesting challenge. The primary purpose of the United Bible Societies bookfair was on how Bible societies can provide national churches with Scripture resources they need. The theme was Publishing with Purpose: Resourcing the Church.
The idea of making this a maze leading to a stylized church building seemed to communicate the idea.
